Finding Happiness After Suicide

Jessica | March 2, 2015

Finding happiness after suicide can be difficult as we are torn between overwhelming feeling of sadness and guilt.  For this week’s Motivational Monday we wanted to remind everyone that there is still beauty in this world.  This week we hope you all take a minute to find the beauty that still exists.  It doesn’t matter how big or small; all the matters is that it makes you smile and reminds you that beauty lives on even after the loss of your loved one.

Wonderful sentiment. Wonderful quote. Made more poignant but more powerful if you know that Kurt’s mother died by suicide the night before Mother’s Day when he was young. He knew his truth the hard way.

The knowledge of his mother’s death certainly makes this quote that much more powerful. I continue to be in awe of the strength we survivors have.
