Acknowledge your Strength

Jessica | June 19, 2017

Take time today to acknowledge your strength. A suicide loss is an earth shattering, life changing tragedy. It is not the same as a natural death. A natural death rocks your boat.  A suicide loss flips your boat over in the middle of a storm. It takes time and a great deal of strength to not only flip the boat over, but climb back inside. We are often so focused on flipping the boat over that we forget to acknowledge how long we have been in the water. It takes strength, perseverance and courage to continue treading water. Be proud of how far you have come. Even if it seems like you haven’t gone far, believe me, you have.
